Max Crocker

Restaurant Manager

Hailing from the East Sussex coast – renowned for its superb seafood and local produce – Max began his hospitality career at an impressively young age. He started as a hotel KP at just 13 years old, and after two weeks he had already convinced the chefs to let him help prepare Scotch eggs. He quickly progressed and by age 18, he was running a busy seafront bar in Hastings, where his passion for the industry and knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails continued to grow.

A self-described ‘human Border Collie’, Max loves to be around people and thrives in his varied, energetic role as Restaurant Manager. He has a deep appreciation for quality service, and handles our day-to-day operations while ensuring every guest has the best possible experience at The Stablehand.
