Mouth-Watering New Dishes
As the nights start to draw in a little earlier, join us in our cosy dining room to try our tasty new dishes, offering the best in homely comfort for this colder weather.
Don’t miss our chef Lucy’s traditional chicken pie, filled with delicate slow-cooked chicken, vegetables gently sautéed in butter, a splash of white wine and a homemade chicken stock – simply delicious.
Coming soon to our starters, an inventive new scallop dish with a smooth cauliflower purée and crispy crumb, creating a delightful blend of textures and flavours.
How could we forget pudding? You’ll soon see an irresistible selection of autumnal desserts appearing on our menu, centring on British stone fruits such as peaches and plums.
A New Addition to Our Wines by the Glass
We are delighted to be offering a lovely new wine by the glass, the 2019 Kingscote Chardonnay from West Sussex.
Destined to become a firm favourite on our wine list, this wonderfully refreshing Chardonnay is lightly oaked with a delicious creamy finish.
Pair with our delicate poached salmon or a selection of British cheeses, or simply enjoy on its own.

Sunday Roast
Enjoy a traditional roast dinner every Sunday at the Stablehand, with tender roast beef or chicken served with all of your favourite trimmings, including Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
Group Dining
With two beautifully furnished private dining rooms, The Stablehand is the perfect spot for your family or corporate event. Our cosy wood-panelled wine cellar seats up to 24, ideal for an intimate group lunch or dinner. We offer a delicious set menu and will happily adapt dishes to suit your group’s tastes, as well as suggest drinks to accompany your meal.
Eton & Windsor draught and cask beer
We are proud to offer traditional cask beers supplied by our local partner, Windsor & Eton Brewery, with a choice of a Guardsman Best Bitter and a refreshing pale ale.
On draught, we have a smooth, creamy London Dry Stout, the excellent Devon’s Red Cider, and an award-winning, full-flavoured pilsner lager which uses a special fermenting and ‘lagering’ process to deliver a balanced and rounded taste.
