MINIMUM SPEND AND OTHER AGREED POINTS :
A minimum spend or other requirements may be agreed at time of booking and may simply be agreed by exchange of email and / or added to the Group Booking Form for the event.
PAYMENT :
For events with a minimum spend requirement, as specified in the booking proposal, the full amount will be paid in advance of the event. This can be paid in full at the time of booking or in two instalments : a 20% deposit to secure the date and confirm the booking. The balance of the minimum spend paid in full one week before the event.
For events where a minimum spend is not required, the deposit as specified in the booking proposal is required to confirm the booking and secure the date. The balance is to be paid at the restaurant on the day of the event, or in advance for all pre-ordered items if the payee is not present at the event.
PAYMENT METHOD: Payment can be made via our secure payment system either over the phone or in person in the restaurant.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All bookings of 8 plus diners are subject to the terms and conditions below.
A LA CARTE: Available for groups of up to 12 guests
SET MENUS: Choose from our group set menu, buffet & canapé menu, or a bespoke menu tailored to your specifications.
WINE TASTING: For all wine tasting events please specify which wine tasting you have selected (please note, this must be the same one for the whole group) or discuss a bespoke wine tasting for your event.
SERVICE CHARGE: A 12.5% discretionary service charge will be added to your bill.
ROOM HIRE:
We do not charge for room hire, except for venue takeovers. On certain days and venues and in the case of private or semi-private dining bookings we will ask for a minimum spend. This will be confirmed at the time of booking and covers the use of the space booked, the food and drinks VAT and service charge.
Exclusive hire
For exclusive hire of the entire restaurant/bar facilities this can be arranged and the amounts for room hire and / or minimum spend will be confirmed at the time of booking.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
Our cancellation terms depend on group size and date of cancellation. Please see below the terms that will apply to your booking.
Group size: 8 – 19 GUESTS
- A 10% cancellation fee is charged for cancelling an entire booking less than 2 days (48 hours) before the booked event. The cancellation fee is based on the number of people and the set menu reserved.
- A Cancellation fee of 100% is applied if an entire booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before the booked event. The cancellation fee is based on the number of people and the set menu reserved. 25% of the cancellation fee can be used as a credit note on a future booking within 30 days of the cancelled event.
- A Cancellation fee of 100% is charged if more than 7 guests are removed from the group booking after 5pm the day before. Fees are calculated from the number of people cancelled and the set menu reserved. The remainder of the group must remain on the set menu.
- A drop in numbers of 2 or more guests must be advised before 5pm the day before the event or you may be charged the full amount for the missing diners (ie the set menu reserved) as indicated above.
Group Size: 20 – 29 GUESTS
- 10% cancellation fee for cancelling an entire booking less than 3 days (72 hours) before booking. Fee is calculated from the number of people & set menus that were booked
- A 50% cancellation fee of set menu group booking will be applied for a full cancellation less than 2 days (48 hours) from booking date. 25% of this cancellation fee can be used as a credit note for a future booking within 2 months. (60 days)
- A Cancellation fee of 100% is applied, if more than 7 guests are removed from the group booking after 5pm the day before. Fee is calculated from the number of people & set menus that were booked. The remainder of the group must remain on the set menu.
- A drop in numbers of 2 or more guests must be advised before 6pm the evening before for next day functions, or you may be charged 100% for the missing diners.
Group Size: 30+ GUESTS
Groups of 30 guests or more must pre-select beverages from our wine list before arriving.
Cancellation policy for 30+ guests
- A 10% of the minimum spend cancellation fee applies for cancelling 10 days prior to your event. Fee is calculated from the number of people & set menus that were booked or minimum spend that was quoted.
- A 50% cancellation fee will be applied for a full cancellation less than 5 days (48 hours) from booking date. Fee is calculated from the number of people & set menus that were booked or minimum spend that was quoted. 25% of the fee can be used as a credit note for a future event within 3 months (90 days).
- 100% of the minimum spend* cancellation fee will be applied for a full cancellation 48hours before your booking time. 25% of cancellation fee can be used as a credit note for a future event within 3 months (90 days).
- A Cancellation fee of 100% is applied if more than 7 guests are removed from the group booking after 12pm the day before. Fee is calculated from the number of people & set menus that were booked or minimum spend that was quoted. The remainder of the group must remain on the set menu.
- A drop in numbers of 2 or more guests must be advised before 5pm the evening before for next day functions, or you may be charged 100% for the missing diners.
